Mother and Daughter

Hellloooo fellow bloggers,
How is everyone today? it's a snow day here, and a very nice one because my family has off. I was very excited to hear that, even though my brother is still going to his office. But my sister and mother are staying with me the whole day. they've been so busy at work they deserve a day off.
I especially like it because my mother and I have something we both like to do together. We both like watching this TV show called Psych. We also like looking for the alleged pineapple in every episode. I love finding this TV show at the library, because, I know mommy with love watching it with me. This is so nice because my mother never sits down to watch a movie because she's always to busy. But now I wait at night for her to finish up her work and then we both sit on the couch, and watch the latest episode, and we laugh and have a lot of fun.
And even though I don't like Twilight I always try to get the new books for my mother because she loves them and has so much fun reading them. I've never seen my mother so excited about a book series before. I love to hear her laugh, or get excited about something she's reading. It's a little something we both share and I look at it as special. I love my mother and for a while when she started working I really missed here because she had so much to do. But it feels that more and more these days we have time we're spending together and it really makes me happy.

Miniature Knitter

Helllooooo fellow bloggers,
Today I'm going to show you something truly fascinating. As you know from my earlier posts, Coraline is a stop motion animated movie based off of Neil Gaimen's book. what you don't know but should is that the sweaters and mittens Coraline's little model wears are knitted by hand by the ever talented Althea Crome. She must also be amazingly patient as well to knit with such tiny needles. Her job is as hard and as amazing as the people who spend many years moving those tiny models a centimeter every day just so the world can be entertained. So when you go see the movie, think about Althea Crome, and all the other "little people" who made it possible.

Creepy books, Funny books and Everything in Between.

Hellloooo Fellow Bloggers,
During the past couple of weeks I've been putting more time in my schedule to read a few books, short, long, just as long as their worth the time. As my mother pointed out to me after I read "Twilight";and complained about it, I am a book snob. I just don't read any type of book. They have to have a special something to them.
So this week I read a book, Coraline, that had that special something. It's a story about a girl; and I'm sure your seen it in the media, who walks through a door in her house and finds a world exactly like her old one except everything is much more interesting, and much creepier. She finds a women their with black buttons for eyes who claims to be her other mother. Soon Coraline realize her real parents have been kidnapped and she must rescue them. It is a story that I think has many different types of lessons, all which are important, and I don't want to give too much away, so if you like dark books this is one to read. but I don't recommend it if your a sensitive reader.
They are also making a stop motion movie of it, here is the trailer, it looks good and I hope to go see it.

I got out a lot of books from the library, probably a lot more then I can read, but I like to have them around. I got out the sequel to a book I read a year ago called "The Name of This Book is Secret". Reminiscent of Lemony Snickets style, I'll always like this book because last year I had a dry spell with reading. I'd get out a book but never finish it. This book though was funny, and nicely written. So I persevered with this it and finally finished it. It was like a spell was broken and suddenly I was able to finish reading all the books I got out. Sometimes I still don't finish books, but usually it's for a good reason now. I just bought a book from the library, for 25 cents. It's a historical novel, which looks like a lot of fun, and I'll probably finish it, eventually. I did buy it after all...

And Now it's Time for Did You Know?

Helllooooooo Fellow Bloggers,
Did you know there are many differences between a man’s kimono and women’s, although at first sight they seem the same. A man’s kimono is usually a conservative styled kimono of blue, black, brown, gray, or white, while a women’s kimono is vibrantly colored with fancy designs. A man also has Hakama pants which today are worn on formal occasions and are used in traditional arts like kendo (Fencing) martial arts, and archery.
A women’s kimono is very fancy with different styles of Obi (the belt around the kimono) tying and even the sleeves color and fabric vary to the wearer’s age, social status, marital status and the seasons. A young unmarried woman wears a furisode, a colorful kimono with long sleeves down to her ankle while a married woman wears shorter sleeves on her kimono. Brides wear a kimono of pure white, then at the wedding reception they usually wear an over kimono brightly colored.
Well now you know, and don't you forget it! ^_~

A Comedy Within Comedy

Helllllooooooooo fellow bloggers,
This year, Disney channel is coming out with a new show that I'm really excited to see. It's called Sonny with a Chance, and it's about a girl who joins the cast of a comedy show called "So Random". It's a show within a show, with fully produced comedy sketches. It stars Demi Lovato, a new Disney star who made her debut on "As the Bell Rings" and became popular with her role as Mitchie in "Camp Rock" a Disney channel movie that wasn't very good but Demi was very cute in it.
I usually don't follow celebrities so much because they have a habit of disappointing you, which really isn't they're fault so much because they are regular people with added stress levels because of their work, fans, and the media following their every move.
But I read a lot of nice things about Demi and I like her music, so I'm really looking forward to her show, and her future career.

Two Peas in a Pod

Helllloooo fellow bloggers,
I took this quiz that I found on my mothers blog. I got the same results as her. what are the odds. ^_^

Teen Musicals Old and New

HELLLOOOOO fellow bloggers,
Hi, I just decided to do a little post on musicals, because I love musicals and I wanted to share some of my personal favorite song and dance numbers that teens did in movies. I'll start with the oldest, I love watching old movies so I was just watching a bunch of my favorite numbers from movies and I kept looking through a ton of them till I watched this one and I dunno for some reason I really liked it. It's Donald O'Conner and Peggy Ryan dancing in Mister Big, a kinda High School Musical for their time. I just love how zany they both are together. ^_^

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uq7BwPPmTtM

But if We're gonna talk High School Musical, the team worth watching in the movie aren't the leads. It's Sharpay and Ryan, who are funny and very good at scene stealing. ^_^

The Writer Blabs on...

HELLLLOOOOO fellow Bloggers,
Today, The sky is gray, which is no surprise to me because a storm is coming, and lately it's been raining enough to rival Forks Washington. (haha)
Yesterday, while I was watching superstars of dance for my mom (which i don't really understand because some of the dancer aren't very super) I saw this girl who did a tap dance number to Jerry Lewis's typewriter song. I liked it but the Judges didn't. Although disappointing, the group team from America really lifted us out of last place. They were super good, they are called the groovaloo's and you should totally look them up on youtube.
The Ireland team, although good seems to just be doing Lord of the dance all over again. I mean I recognize all the dances, and I was trying to think of why they were doing that. Maybe they're traditional dances, I don't know but, it lessens my impressed level.
Recently I've been having this problem, I want absolute quiet whenever I sit down to read a book, but usually I read in the afternoon, since I finished all my chores and schoolwork. But the afternoon, is when my family comes home, and for some reason I can never concentrate on my book, if people are talking, watching a movie, or listening to music. It never used to bother me before but now it does, and the slightest noise makes me freak out 'cause I can't read then. All I want to do is enjoy a nice book, but I can't tell my family and everything else around me to stop what they're doing just so I can read. So last night when I had a particularly bad episode of failing to concentrate under noise, after I felt better, it suddenly reminded me of an Animaniacs song that Dot sings. So here it is enjoy. ^_^

When I finished watching it, I looked down at the comments and this was one of them I read that was super funny: "Cheap romance horror thriller novels? Sounds like Twilight." haha! I was thinking the same thing when Dot said that. ^_^
Well, I hope to soon conquer this noise problem I'm having. I'm going to pray for some patience and tolerance. I also thought that maybe it's caused by lack of sleep, so tonight, I'm gonna work on one solution I thought of, and go to bed early.
Soooooooo long until next time.

Back To Ye Olde Swing of Things

Hellloooooo, All you Bloggers Out there,
It is I, You know who. ^_^
Well a new week has started and with it, my sister and mother start working again. My father and brother as well. I really miss them sometimes, but that's just how life is. What about me? Is that what you asked. Oh, I'm ever so flattered. I've just been doing the same ol' same ol'. Biology which makes no sense because they use really long words which really doesn't bother me, but it's hard when there are so many consonants in front of each other. Math which possibly makes more sense then Biology but not by much. Also Vocabulary, and English, which both make alot of sense.
Also I felt terrible yesterday on account of a bad mix of foodstuff. But I'm okay now. Not that you were worried. ^-^
Ooooh also, my darling brother-sibling took me to the bookstore on Saturday night, were I indulged myself in some leisure reading and getting my mother the latest Twilight book. She loves that series.
Well, I'm gonna go watch this TV show for my mother so, Goodnight Everybody!

Totally Insaney...

Hi, I just thought I'd share my animaney quiz results with you dear bloggers!
If you end up taking it, post your results on my comments I'd soooooo wanna know! Just click on the which Animaniacs Character are You above Yakko's Picture. ^_^
until then, Goodnight Everybody!

Which Animaniacs Character are You?

Talkative, huh? Perhaps sing-ative would be more appropriate, actually. When people don't understand something, it usually drives you to cutting, sarcastic remarks. Your other extreme is bursting into song with almost no prompting, often to explain complex ideas. No one knows quite what you are, exactly. You have made many "special" friends, and there's baloney in your slacks.

Happy New Year 2009

Hellloooooo fellow bloggers,
I'm back to write a little post for the new year. We had a big party, our cousins suprised us by coming over and playing music as they entered the house. I broke a wooden spoon against a pot (next year I'm buying a metal spoon), there was music dancing and I ate too many pickles. It looks like it snow in our front yard because of the confetti we threw, which i'm still shaking out of my hair. Yesterday I was planning to write this post but I was busy, so I am doing it today. But I've forgotten all those lovely eloquent words I fabricated yesterday, so instead I will simply say: to another Year of change, may it only be good.
